Due to concerns regarding community health regarding the spread of COVID-19, the Greater Phoenix Chamber team has elected to shift to a telework office and postpone or cancel upcoming events. The Chamber team will still be available to members via phone and email. The Chamber will continue to communicate with you as more information and resources become available. The Chamber’s COVID-19 resource page will remain current with news impacting businesses.
Additionally, our team will be sharing a weekly community health update to ensure that you and your business are aware of what is happening in our community.
Construction Trade Workforce Programs Tour #2
A healthy construction trade workforce is vital to the Greater Phoenix region’s economy. There are currently more than 10,000 open construction trades jobs in the region yet we have several education programs with open seats. Join elected officials, construction industry leaders and community partners for a series of tours at a few of our local education facilities.
The second tour will take place at Metro Tech High School, one of many educational and training providers producing talent to address the immense workforce shortage in the construction industry. During the tour, participants will build a greater awareness of the programs offered and opportunities for engagement. These tours will be followed with specific strategies to enhance outcomes at each of these locations.
Tour #3: A follow-up invitation will be provided to all attendees for the third tour in the series on Oct. 18 at East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT).
