Join us on Tuesday, November 12th, for our Professional Women’s Alliance Luncheon, Building Your Legacy Through Estate Planning, featuring Senior Vice President and Trust Officer of BOK Financial, Christie Rousso and Senior Vice President and Director of Financial Planning of BOK Financial, Kimberly Bridges.
We will begin with an informative session covering the basics of estate planning, highlighting the importance of taking proactive steps to secure your legacy. Following this discussion, our presenters will share their personal stories, providing valuable insights into their professional journeys and the experiences that shaped their success.
Christie Rousso
Christie Rousso is a licensed attorney and an accomplished corporate trustee with over a decade of experience in fiduciary services and wealth management. Born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Christie earned a bachelors degree from the University of Washington at the age of 20. Christie attended law school in Arizona and then relocated back to Washington state where she took and passed the bar.
She started her professional career as a Trust Officer with Merrill Lynch Trust company and worked her way up to a Senior Trust Officer, serving clients under the Bank of America banner for ten years before accepting a position at BOK Financial in 2023. She specializes in Trust and Estate Administration for high-net-worth clients.
In addition to their professional role, Christie Rousso is the Secretary of the East Valley Estate Planning Council and was honored as a 2022 recipient of the American Bankers Association’s “40 Under 40 in Wealth Management” award. Christie also is a single mother of a 3 year old daughter and a 5 year old son, where she balances a dynamic career with raising two young children in Queen Creek, AZ.
Kimberly Bridges
Kim is Senior Vice President and Director of Financial Planning for BOK Financial. She leads a team of Certified Financial Planner™ professionals who provide personal financial plans to clients of BOKF, as well as Business Transition Services, an offering that helps business owners prepare for the sale of their businesses. Additionally, Kim chairs the Women’s Empowerment Council at BOKF, a group whose vision is to “empower women to own their financial future and live the life they want.”
Kim has a passion for educating and empowering women to make smart financial decisions and this passion fueled her desire to earn a doctorate in personal financial planning from Texas Tech University. Her graduate research focused on women’s financial issues, and she has become a recognized expert in this area, presenting to audiences of women and the advisors who serve them across the United States and Canada.
Previously, Kim held positions as a senior financial planner at Commerce Trust Company and BMO Private Bank in Kansas City, Missouri, as well as Stoker Ostler Wealth Advisors in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Prior to her academic experience, Kim served as a United States Marine. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in human ecology and Master of Science degree in family studies and human services with an emphasis in family financial planning from Kansas State University. Additionally, Kim holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Certified Private Wealth Advisor®, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® and Retirement Management AdvisorSM designations. Kim served on the national board of directors for the Financial Planning Association and is a former president of the Financial Planning Association of Greater Phoenix. Kim has four children and four grandchildren, and lives with her husband, Chuck, in Mesa, Arizona where they enjoy hiking, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.
