Position Overview:
Argosy University is currently seeking qualified candidates for the Admissions Representative position to support prospective students at the online contact center campus location. As an Admissions Representative, you’ll have the opportunity to support enrollment by speaking with these individuals seeking to receive an education from our reputable institution over the phone. Admissions Representatives work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented and collaborative setting, and have the opportunity to change lives every day! We are looking for results-driven and customer service-oriented people willing to conduct a high quantity of phone contacts to secure appointments and interview activity, and conduct follow-up activity with unresolved interviewees and future class applicants while maintaining the highest degree of integrity. On that note, a minimum of some college is REQUIRED (unfortunately, no exceptions).
 
This is a direct-report position based out of Chandler (off the lower 202 and 101 loop intersection) with an extensive training program that is paid and onsite that prepares you to work with our students. You must be comfortable working a combination of 8-hour shifts between 6am and 6pm Monday-Friday and a 4-hour shift between 6am and 2pm up to two Saturdays per month. Specific Qualifications:
  • Conferred HS Diploma / GED
  • Some college experience is required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
 
What You Can Expect To Do:
Every day can be different, but your day-to-day activities will most likely include the following:
  • Schedule and conduct interviews, pursue qualified candidates for enrollment, and determine appropriateness of candidates for admission based upon career goal compatibility.
  • Accurately and completely explain our educational programs, expected outcomes, student services, and financial consideration to students, parents and educators.
  • Manage inquiries in a timely manner, and use approved recruitment policies/formats
  • Secure new inquiries (Personally Developed Referrals) by directly asking contacts via phone about referrals.
  • Accurately forecast projected new students on a periodic basis.
  • Consistently conduct follow-up conversations via emails and calls with all applicants to ensure successful matriculation.
  • Assist other personnel and departments with data collection and problem solving.
