With campuses in Phoenix and Glendale, Gompers serves 500 adults and children with disabilities in the metro-Phoenix area. Individuals receive services through our unique programs including a: K-12 special education school, Day Training for Adults program, Employment Services program and In-Home Services. In addition we provide transportation and Assistive technology services which give individuals access to various assistive or adaptive products..
Gompers Private School (GPS) utilizes research based, special education strategies to develop each student’s academic strengths while using a variety of teaching methods to increase communication and independence. On-site therapy services and transition programming enhance each student’s learning and post graduate opportunities.
Gompers Day Training for Adults (DTA) program is built around community integration and self-determination. Individuals with disabilities 18 and older are encouraged to fulfill their dreams and maximize their abilities, while being supported to reach their highest potential for independence.
Gompers Employment Services (ES) program offers one of the finest employment readiness programs for people with disabilities. With a skilled support team, members have opportunities to explore interests and gain experience with a goal of independent, competitive employment. The ES program offers: Individual Employment assistance, Group, and Community Based Employment, Disability Related Employment Services.
Gompers In-Home Services offers family a variety of supports in the comfort of their home.
