About Us

Arouet is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women and families impacted by the justice system, helping them build strong, thriving communities. We support participants with re-entry preparation, career development, financial resources, and life-skills to ensure lasting success. Our programs include mentorship, coaching, health navigation, financial education, and job readiness. Beyond release, we provide ongoing support, fostering confidence and independence. Participants also have the opportunity to become Storytellers, using their lived experiences to inspire and educate the broader community. At Arouet, we believe in second chances and are committed to breaking cycles of incarceration through education and empowerment.
